The Four Winds Festival
The Four Winds Festival is a free weekend long event on Rutland Water. On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June from 12-4pm the banks of Rutland Water’s south shore will be transformed into a family festival with a huge variety of events and activities. The day will culminate in the magnificent ticketed performance of "The Way the Winds Blow" at 6.30pm.

The Way the Winds Blow
For only two days Arts for Rutland will present this entirely
unique musical event on the shores of Rutland Water. "The Way the Winds Blow" is a world premiere of a specially commissioned piece telling the story of the inhabitants who lie above, below and around Rutland Water. Told through an ambitious mixture of music, dance and choreographed sailing, the production makes full use of its spectacular setting on the shores of Rutland Water. With a cast of more than 500, including a 300-strong choir, this piece is designed to move and inspire an audience whether or not they know the unique history of the area.
